To address the resource cut applied by the Chamber of Deputies, last week the INE Budget Commission approved the “Harmonized” Budget Draft, to which it plans to allocate 6,329 million pesos for the election of judges, ministers and magistrates in 2025. Now the readjustment to next year’s spending will be submitted to discussion and voting by the plenary session of the General Council of the electoral body.
Added to this is that in an extraordinary session the Executive General Board (JGE) of the INE resolved to allocate an additional 9.2 million pesos to what was projected for the purchase of pink vests, which will be the identification clothing for the Electoral Assistant Trainers (CAES) that it will hire. the institute to help in the organization of the judicial election.
During her participation in an event in Tlaxcala, the president invited citizens to participate in the election of the Judicial Branch of the Federation to make it the most attended in history.
“Our adversaries say that there is authoritarianism. If it is the people who decide. Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people and now the Judiciary will serve the people of Mexico and the nation, as it should always have been. So on June 1st of next year we are going to elect ministers; something historic, and we must make a very participatory election,” he added.
