The president stressed that she will maintain a good relationship with the governor, Samuel García announced that there will be more federal investments in this entity in terms of infrastructure, mobility and security support.
When speaking, the governor of Nuevo León highlighted his administration’s willingness to cooperate in the areas that are necessary.
“If I tell all of Nuevo León that I am convinced that we are going to do very well with the president, Claudia Sheinbaum,” he said.
In his Economic package for 2025, Samuel García proposed a budget of 152,164 million pesos, an amount 6.4% higher than that of 2023, and a debt ceiling of 17,560 million for productive investment.
The Congress of Nuevo León is made up of 42 legislators, of which: 10 belong to the Citizen Movement, from which Governor Samuel García comes, and 32 from the PAN, Morena, PRI, PVEM, PRD and PT, parties with which he has had political differences.
