Actions accelerate in Michoacán
After the murder of the mayor of Uruapan, Carlos Manzo, the government accelerated social programs, fairs and works, including voluntary disarmament in Michoacán.
The Secretary of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez, reported that 13 fairs were scheduled for the entity, of which seven have already been held.
“This year we will also complement four days of “Yes to Disarmament, Yes to Peace” for the exchange of firearms for cash, anonymously, and a Welfare Tianguis,” he explained.
The Secretary of Education, Mario Delgado, reported that next January the delivery of cards will begin to disperse transportation support to students.
It was also reported that in March of next year the Rosario Castellanos University will begin classes.
