The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, recognized this Wednesday the work of Mexican men and women who work in the United States and support their families and the economy of Mexico, calling them “heroes of the country.”
Within the framework of the parade to commemorate the 114th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, the first led by the president in her capacity as Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheinbaum Pardo highlighted the contribution that Mexican migrants make in various productive sectors in the neighboring country northern.
“Mexican men and women in the United States, our countrymen and women, are heroes and heroines, workers who support their families and the economy of Mexico. But also, let it be heard clearly and loudly, they contribute to the economy of the United States. Mexicans are some of the best workers there are, in the countryside, in construction, in services, in tourism, professionals, scientists who build the future on both sides of the border every day,” said the head of the Executive. .
During his speech, Sheinbaum also highlighted the importance of the people as the main driver of the transformation that is taking place in the country.
