Sheinbaum raises advertising and communication spending 39% by 2023

This represents an increase of 211 million 578,671 pesos compared to what was approved for this year, since in 2022 541 million 562,630 pesos were allocated.

The Sheinbaum administration will allocate for advertising and social communication 33 times the budget for the search and location of people, and 15 times the resource allocated to support women who experience gender violence.

It also represents 3.5 times what was earmarked for Unemployment Insurance and slightly more than double the resources to improve the city’s public schools through the La Escuela es Nuestra, Mejor Escuela program.

The city government will have a total expenditure of 248,415.1 million pesos, which means 6.2% more than in 2022 in nominal terms.

The Government of the capital will have more resources for communication in 2023.

The flagship programs of the Claudia Sheinbaum administration, such as the Well-being Scholarship for Boys and Girls are the bet for the investment of resources towards 2023.

It will be in 2023 when the head of government participates in the polls with which Morena will choose her representative for the 2024 presidential election.
