Sheinbaum indicated that next year the Well-Being Scholarship for Boys and Girls will also begin nationwide, starting with secondary school students in public schools.

In 2025, as part of the Welfare Pension for Older Adults, medical personnel will begin making home visits.

“We discussed it and we are going to consolidate it next year. We are going to incorporate something additional to the senior citizens program. We are going to have doctors, nurses, and nurses visiting all the senior citizens in the country to check on their health,” he said while accompanying President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The federal president acknowledged the commitment of the next president, who will be sworn in on October 1, and who seeks to give continuity to all the social programs of the current administration.

“She is a woman of good feelings, who loves the people and that is the most important thing of all,” he said.

López Obrador assured that the Pension for Older Adults will continue to increase, at least equivalent to inflation each year.

“It will continue to increase, but not as much, not in the same proportion, because we have increased by 25% in recent years,” he said.
