Sheet music premieres new season of concerts on TV Brasil

THE TV Brazil presents the ninth season of new shows of the program sheet music from this Sunday (10). The recitals selected for the attraction air at 0:30 am, right after the Cine Nacional track, with hits from the country’s seventh art. For the new wave of episodes, the public broadcaster brings together special presentations in honor of renowned composers who are a reference in classical music. The production also mixes concerts on large stages with musicals for small formations or even performed by soloists. The season also features performances by new talents of national art and Brazilian musicians from renowned orchestras.

International artists at the season opener

The premiere program of the new attraction sequence of the sheet music accompanies the show about the historic Hotel Noailles, in France. Produced by Instituto Musica Brasilis, the initiative is part of the series Baroque in Rio. The special highlights the encounter between baroque music and architecture through the presentation of works by renowned composers in incredible buildings.

The edition that marks the beginning of the season reveals curiosities about the hotel built by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the first architect of Louis XIV. The space was the scene of intense musical activity, the favorite art of its owners.

In 1778, the Hotel Noailles hosted, at the same time, the brilliant composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Christian Bach. The musical’s repertoire reflects this famous encounter, in addition to including works by great French authors.

A heritage of architecture, the hotel’s facilities serve as a stage for the performance of musicians Olivier Baumont (harpsichord), Julien Chauvin (violin), Aurélien Delage (harpsichord) and Atsushi Sakai (viola da gamba).

The first unreleased episode of sheet music In this wave, there is also the testimony of Françoise Brissard, current owner of the Hotel Noailles. She comments on the main musical moments lived in the building.

The guest recalls important events and tells about several singularities about the hotel built between 1678 and 1682. The building was the seat of intense musical activity in the Paris region.
