The National Guard (GN) shared its genetic data bank with the National Search Commission, thereby increasing the possibility of identifying a greater number of disappeared persons by comparing the records of the victims’ relatives.

The delivery-reception of the data bank was carried out at the facilities of the General Scientific Directorate of the GN, after the technical-legal feasibility of sharing the files collected by this public security institution during the actions it carries out was analyzed. in different research areas.
