Shakira: Minjusdh urges that personal data in health cannot be disseminated without authorization

Regarding the health of singer Shakira, the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Minjusdh) recalled that personal data in health are information protected by law and cannot be disclosed without authorization or consent.

The aforementioned Ministry indicated that the dissemination of said information It constitutes a violation of the right to privacy, which is sanctioned with fines that go between 26,750 and 267,500 soles.

“We demand from health establishments to provide personal data protection measures and strict compliance with Law 29733,” The Minjusdh indicated through his X account.

Law 29733, Personal Data Protection Law, aims to guarantee this fundamental right through its proper treatment, in accordance with the provisions of article 2 numeral 6 of the Political Constitution.

As is known, Colombian singer Shakira reported through her official networks about the cancellation of her concert planned for this Sunday, February 16 at the National Stadium, because It is admitted to a local clinic by an abdominal box.
