The Power of attorney postponed for the afternoon of this Saturday, October 22, the hearing where the prosecutor’s request for preventive detention against the members of the so-called ‘Shadow Cabinet’ of President Pedro Castillo will be evaluated.
This morning at 10:00 am the hearing began, but the defense of those investigated requested more time to learn in depth the allegations of the Public Ministry, for which the Judge Víctor Zúñiga decided to suspend the session and resume it at 4:00 p.m.
Likewise, Zúñiga Urday explained that the evaluation of the Prosecutor’s request will last until 9:00 pm. In addition, he reported that it will resume this Sunday morning and will continue until the afternoon of the same day.
As recalled, the request of the Public Ministry reaches the fugitive Alexander Sanchez Sanchezowner of the Sarratea house in Breña; Salatiel Marrufo (former adviser to the Housing sector); Biberto Castillo and Abel Cabrerawho are investigated for the alleged crime of criminal organization and others.
Likewise, the Public Ministry requested restrictive measures against eight of the 20 investigated. On October 11, the Judicial Power ordered the preliminary detention for 10 days against those investigated.
In the case of Beder-Camachoformer deputy secretary general of peter castle, a restricted appearance was requested. This also reaches the president’s former advisers Henry Shimabukuro, Eder Viton Y Auner Vasquez. All of them are also syndicated as part of the ‘Shadow Cabinet’.
According to the prosecution’s thesis, in the criminal structure, Sánchez Sánchez and Cabrera Fernández had the role of financiers and coordinators of the organization, Marrufo and Vásquez in the coordinators. Meanwhile, Castillo León fulfilled the role of operator.
