The Special Team of the Prosecutor’s Office indicates that Alejandro Sánchez, Nenil Medina and Abel Cabera Fernández made the first financial contributions to Pedro Castillo’s campaign in the 2021 general elections.

The defense attorneys of Salatiel Marrufo, Biberto Castillo, Abel Cabrera and Alejandro Sánchez requested that the hearing be suspended for this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. to be aware of any tax file prepared by the Special Team.

The Judiciary evaluates the request for 36 months of preventive detention against Salatiel Marrufo, Biberto Castillo, Abel Cabrera and Alejandro Sánchez for the alleged crimes of influence peddling and collusion in the form of criminal organization.

The hearing will take place at 10 a.m. The Prosecutor’s Office accuses those involved of participating in the alleged crimes of aggravated collusion and influence peddling in the form of criminal organization.

According to the prosecutor’s thesis, Segundo Sánchez Sánchez, Nenil Medina and Abel Cabera Fernández made financial contributions to Castillo’s campaign in order to place trusted personnel in key positions in the Executive Branch, such as in the Ministries of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (Geiner Alvarado) and Transport and Communications (Juan Silva Villegas).

Regarding this, it indicates that those investigated directed and awarded “by finger” millionaire works that were approved by the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, under the protection of Emergency Decree 102-2022.

Likewise, those involved would also have decided on the appointment of Salatiel Marrufo (advisor to the Ministry of Housing); Bruno Pacheco (presidential secretary); Beder Camacho (undersecretary), as well as Henry Shimabukuro (Dini); Biberto Castillo, Eder Viton Burga and David Pérez as presidential advisers.
