The Miranda 2nd Trial Court sentenced Crisanto Garrido (65) to 22 years in prison for sexually abusing a 12-year-old boy, a fact reported on October 20, 2022 in Los Teques (Miranda), reported the Public Ministry.
The official statement indicates that the victim’s mother went to the headquarters of the Bolivarian National Guard to denounce that her son was abused by his neighbor when he invited him to his home to offer him sweets and money.
Given these circumstances, the sixty-year-old was arrested that same day and placed at the order of the Public Ministry.
In the trial, the 12th Prosecutor of the aforementioned jurisdiction ratified the accusation against Garrido for the crime of sexual abuse with anal penetration.
Once the means and bodies of evidence presented by the prosecutor’s representation had been evaluated, the 2nd Trial Court of Miranda handed down the aforementioned sentence against the sixty-year-old, who will serve his sentence in the El Rodeo II Judicial Confinement Center, located in Guatire.
He abused a young woman
In another event, the 2nd Control Court in Matters of Violence against Women of Monagas, ordered the imprisonment of Estiven José Vallenilla Esparragoza for his alleged responsibility in committing a sexual act with a young woman diagnosed with moderate intellectual development disorder, informed the Prosecutor’s Office.
Such a situation occurred on June 17 in the La Juventud sector, Maturín, Monagas.
According to the investigation, during the night of the aforementioned date, the young woman was returning from the house of one of her sisters towards her home, when she was intercepted by Vallenilla Esparragoza (a neighbor of the sector) who took her by force to an uninhabited house, where he stripped her of her clothes and sexually abused her.
After fleeing the place, the young woman returned to the home of one of her sisters, who accompanied her the next day to report the facts to the Monagas State Police (Polimonagas).
Once the medical and psychological evaluations that corroborated the complainant’s testimony were carried out, the man was apprehended on June 18 to be turned over to the Public Ministry.
During the presentation hearing, the 18th Monagas Prosecutor charged Vallenilla for the alleged commission of a carnal act with a particularly vulnerable victim.
Once the case was evaluated, the aforementioned court issued the aforementioned deprivation of liberty against the accused and established his temporary detention in the Training Center for the New Man Nelson Mandela, located in Maturín, detailed the Prosecutor’s Office.
