Hidrocapital reported that several parishes in “Greater Caracas” will run out of water for 24 hours due to supposed scheduled maintenance. However, it was learned that the day before there was an accident that seriously injured two Hidrocapital workers and that would have left various sectors of the urban area without water.
Hidrocapital reported that, starting at 6:00 am this Wednesday, June 14, several parishes in Caracas, Miranda and Vargas, which make up the so-called “Greater Caracas”, will be left without water for at least 24 hours due to a partial stoppage of the System Tuy III, which will undergo preventive maintenance.
In that sense, hydrocapital indicated that seven parishes of the Libertador municipality; two in Miranda state and the Vargas parish in La Guaira, will run out of water.
In detail, sectors such as Algodonal, La Yaguara, Mamera, San José de Carapita, Casco Principal de Antimano, El Progreso and Las Clavellinas of the Antímano parish; The Poliedro, Hippodrome, Cacique Tiuna, Santa Eduvigis; turmeric; Coche and Mercado Mayor de Coche, in that homonymous parish; Calle 1 to 8, Calle two, three and four of La Pedrera, Fuerte Tiuna, La Bandera, Jardines del Valle, El Valle and Alberto Ravell in the El Valle parish, will not have water.

Similarly, areas such as San Miguel, La Tumba and Los Pinos in the La Vega parish; Las Acacias, Los Chaguaramos, Valle Abajo, Santa Mónica, Los Chaguaramos of the San Pedro parish; Bello Monte, Plaza Venezuela, Quebrada Honda, La Campiña, Los Caobos and Sabana Grande of the El Recreo parish; El Amparo, Los Eucaliptos, Artigas, La Cruz and Los Molinos in the San Juan parish will also be affected.
Santa Fe, Barrialito, Baruta, Bello Monte Hills, Valle Arriba Hills, Ojo de Agua, Humboldt Park, Piedra Azul, Prados del Este, USB, Hotel Tamanaco, San Román and Santa Rosa de Lima in the municipality of Baruta and Canaima, Montesano, Alcabala Vieja Juan Puya and Maiquetía are some areas of the Vargas municipality of Vargas state, will suffer the works of Tuy III.

The partial stoppage of Hidrocapital del Tuy III to carry out maintenance, is recorded after it was known that workers of this state hydrological company suffered an accident when they were fixing a pipe in the La Yaguara Distributor where two people were injured.
He Daily Contrast indicated that the Hidrocapital workers worked in the rain, which made the earth softer and the pipes fell. The workers, after the accident, did not finish the job for fear of a repeat of the situation.
Regarding this, one of the workers added that: “Media Caracas is without water. But first is our life.
