The Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Ramon Perez Ferminreported this Friday that during the week of July 27 to August 2, 2024, the Dominican Government will continue to subsidize the prices of fuels.
Pérez Fermín explained that this initiative represents a sacrifice of approximately 403.3 million pesos, with which the government seeks to avoid the increases in the international market affect citizens’ pockets.
For the week of July 27 to August 2, 2024, the Ministry of IndustryTrade and SMEs provides that the fuels are marketed at the following prices:
Price Update
- Premium gasoline: will be sold at 290.10 pesos per gallon; it maintains its price
- Regular gasoline: 272.50 pesos per gallon; price remains the same
- Gasoil Regular: 221.60 pesos per gallon; maintains its price
- Gasoil Optimal: 239.10 pesos per gallon; maintains its price
- Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG): 132.60 pesos per gallon; price remains the same
- Natural gas: 43.97 per cubic meter (m3); price remains stable
- Avtur: 200.34 pesos per gallon; down 3.48 pesos
- Kerosene: 230.10 pesos per gallon; down 3.80 pesos
- Fuel oil#6: 161.07 pesos per gallon; down 6.30 pesos
- Fuel oil 1%S: 180.79 pesos per gallon; down 4.70 pesos
The average weekly exchange rate is 59.22 pesos according to the daily publications of the central bank.
