The cicpc reported the capture of seven members of the Los Pim Pim gang, accused of murdering a police officer and injuring another.
The subjects were detained in the Unare parish, Caroní municipality, Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state. In this case, the fatal victim is identified as Denny José Aular Prieto (44), an officer attached to the Bolívar state police (PEB).
The uniformed man was sharing with the seven criminals in the La Ceiba peasant settlement, La Arenera street, “where he had a discussion with the detainees and fled the place,” says the scientific police report.
The bandits then chased the policeman and shot him several times until he died. In this event, a Third Class Sergeant Major, who was with the police officer, was injured.
For this homicide, the following are detained: Alfredo Daniel Guilarte Sifontes (45), Carlos Javier Pérez Martínez (24); Ramón Eduardo Figueroa Bolívar (31), Alcides Ramón Gómez (48), Carlos Santino Mauro Villasana (30), José María Mauro Villasana (26) and José Alexander Martínez (39).
Fight for jealousy
Another subject investigated for homicide was captured in Carora (Lara), identified as Miguel José Baptista Batista (30).
This subject got his partner by talking to Jairo Rafael González Valero (47) on October 31. He argues with them and in the middle of the confrontation he stabbed them several times. Jairo died a few days later, while the woman remains in care.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry.
