Seven members of the organization founded by alias El Cachete were killed in the Tomás Lander municipality (Ocumare del Tuy), Miranda state, during clashes with members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to reports.
The El Cachete gang is accused of participating in the murder of three Polimiranda and a GNB agent last Friday in the La Trilla sector of Ocumare del Tuy. Among the deceased is the secretary of Citizen Security of the aforementioned municipality.
Once this event occurred, a police-military commission was deployed in the area, specifically in the El Tanque sector, where Freddy Giovani Díaz Castro, a member of the El Cachete gang, was killed.
Diaz fired a Smith & Wesson 10-8 38mm revolver. The operation continues to locate and capture the other members of the criminal organization who operate in the extortion zone and collect “vaccines”.
