According to the Municipal Health Department (SMS), family clinics, health centers, polyclinics and psychosocial care centers do not open on the 14th and 15th, returning to normal service on Wednesday (16). On this Tuesday’s holiday, commerce will be able to open according to the adhesion of each shopkeeper, according to the guidance of the Union of Shopkeepers of Commerce of the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro (SindilojasRio). Banks will be closed.

According to the Brazilian Association of Shopping Centers (Abrasce), the operation of malls on Tuesday follows the same model practiced on other holidays. In general, the malls are open in the afternoon and at night, at a time defined by each administration in agreement with the workers’ union.

The Association of Supermarkets of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Asserj) reported that supermarkets will open their doors at reduced hours, according to the operation of each network on holidays.
