The president of the Board of Directors of Servel, Andrés Tagle, reported on the constitution of tables that took place this Saturday prior to the Exit Plebiscite of the New Constitution, where it will be defined whether to approve or reject the proposal for a new Magna Carta prepared by the first Constitutional Convention of the country.
Tagle reported that at the national level, 13,185 tables of the 38,472 available have already been set up, which is equivalent to 34.27% of the total. Meanwhile, abroad, 112 polling stations out of a possible 286 have already been set up, that is, 39.16%.
“In many cases these are members who have already served, so we understand that many do not arrive since they arrive to form the table early in the morning. And if they do not arrive tomorrow and do not form the table, obviously they will be denounced and risk a much higher fine than not voting, which is between 8 and 12 UTM”, affirmed the person in charge of Servel.
“But we are confident that tomorrow they will arrive and they will set up early,” he added.
The detail of the tables constituted disaggregated at the level of Chile and abroad is available here.
