The Ministry of Health announced that together with the regional health directorates and managements of Peru, they have enabled 27 venues for the development of the exam that will assign places to the Rural and Marginal Urban Health Service (Serums) 2024-II. This test will be held on Sunday, September 1, and more than 13 thousand applicants will participate.
The head of the General Directorate of Health Personnel (Digep) of the Minsa, Vicente Cruzate Cabrejos, said that there will be one headquarters per region and it will be located in the capital province. In the case of Lima, there will be two headquarters.
The locations will be educational institutions and the list will be announced on Wednesday. Regarding the preparation of the exam, Cruzate indicated that the “Exam preparation group” is isolated in a location where its members have no contact with the outside world (neither outings nor visits), and it does not include the use of their cell phones.
Within a period of seven days, they will prepare the 100 multiple-choice questions, according to each career and the five thematic blocks: public health, comprehensive health care, ethics and interculturality, research and management of health services.
He also said that for the security of the test, the names of those in charge of preparing the exam will not be given.
According to the implementation plan, professionals receive between 5,000 and 3,500 soles for their services in preparing the exam.
On the other hand, the exam will last 2 hours, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and the applicant must come with his/her national identity document (DNI) or foreigner’s card, and the printed proof of his/her registration.
The results will be announced no later than Monday, September 2, once the process is complete.
The Minsa clarified that it is prohibited to carry cell phones, headphones, tablets, purses, backpacks, watches, among others.
