With a goal from forward Vitor Jacaré, Bahia defeated Sport 1-0, on Wednesday night (8) at Arena Fonte Nova, in Salvador, and took the vice-leadership of Serie B of the Brazilian Championship.
The triumph at home took Tricolor to 22 points, surpassing the Vasco, who has 21 points after victory over Náutico. Sport, on the other hand, remains with 18 points, in fourth position, after the defeat.
The only goal of the match came in the 32nd minute of the second half, with a kick from outside the area by forward Vitor Jacaré, who entered the field 10 minutes earlier.

Bahia returns to the field next Saturday (11), when they visit Operário. Two days later, Sport receives Grêmio on Ilha do Retiro.
