Last Sunday (1st), Vasco, led by coach Zé Ricardo, drew 1-1 away from home with Tombense, which occupies the relegation zone. CSA also drew 1-1 against Criciúma, last Wednesday (4th). Like their rivals from Rio de Janeiro, Azulão has only one victory in the competition: 1-0 over Sport at home.

The carioca team seeks to get closer to the G4, led by Bahia (13 points). Cruzmaltino’s command of the field can make the difference in favor of Vasco, according to Colombian Quintero.

“Playing at Caldeirão is fundamental for us, with our fans, our stadium, on our field that we know well. Undoubtedly, it is going out to seek victory”, said the Vasco player.

CSA, coached by Mozart Santos, comes from two consecutive games: after winning last Saturday (30) against Sport, the Alagoas dueled on Wednesday (4) against Criciúma. Azulão still hasn’t scored away from home.
