This Friday morning, Judge Rafael Alcón was arrested for having benefited from house arrest for serial rapist Richard Choque Flores, confirmed the attorney for the judicial authority, Manolo Rojas.

“He acted transparently and the only thing he did was apply the law, he came to testify voluntarily, nobody summoned him to appear to testify, but the ministry ordered his arrest for the crimes of resolutions contrary to the Political Constitution of the State. They will have to give evidence of this,” Rojas told the press.

The judge’s lawyer reported that his client was taken to the offices of the Public Ministry.

He added that his client only issued a “temporary resolution”, within the margin allowed by law, time that would serve for Richard Choque Flores to be treated for an illness that he claimed he suffered from.

The judge appeared after 10 in the morning at the offices of the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) at the seat of government and when asked why it benefited Choque, he replied that he does not remember what the medical file said. .

“I don’t remember very well, but the doctor suggested that (Choque) be transferred to his home or a hospital center,” he told the press before entering the anti-crime force, facilities from which he later left with police custody heading to the Public Ministry. .

Alcón granted 18 months of house arrest to Choque, who during that period committed abuse and killed at least two young women whom he buried in his home.
