Singer and composer Sérgio Reis is invited to the unprecedented edition of the program Singing and Flavor of Brazilpresented by Paulinho del Ribeiro, this Sunday (6), at 11 am, at TV Brazil. At 81, the veteran sings a repertoire of country classics. Between prose and other about his artistic trajectory, Sérgio Reis demonstrates vitality to sing compositions of the genre that have been successful for generations. playing forward, Drip on me, wandering herdsman and escort of fireflies are some of the works chosen by the musician to present on the public broadcaster’s program.

With his outstanding presence, the experienced singer and songwriter from São Paulo rescues good stories he has experienced in more than six decades on the road. He recalls unforgettable partnerships with music personalities such as Renato Teixeira and Almir Sater. Sérgio Reis has released dozens of albums and has been recognized in the country and abroad with awards such as the Latin Grammy.

The star also has a history in dramaturgy. The musician participated in several productions such as soap operas and films. On the small screens, some of the most remembered roles are as the character Tiberius, in the first version of wetland (1990), on TV Manchete; and Zé Bento, the Saracura, in the plot of The Cattle King (1996), in Globo. In both, he acted with his friend Almir Sater and even released a soundtrack of hits.

In addition to informal conversation with Paulinho Del Ribeiro, the artist enjoys a tasty lunch in the farm’s kitchen. The dish of the day is an appetizing beef rib with cassava and cabbage. The delicacy was prepared by the presenter himself who made the recipe in the old wood stove.
