Parade route for September 16, 2024
The usual parade route begins at the Zócalo in Mexico City and continues along Avenida 20 de Noviembre. From there, the contingents advance towards Avenida Juárez, passing by Paseo de la Reforma, and finally ending at Campo Marte. This route is followed by military personnel and groups participating in the event.
Although this has been the route in previous years, it is recommended to stay tuned for official announcements from the Mexican Government to find out if there will be any changes to this year’s route.
Parade schedule
The official schedule for this year’s parade has not yet been confirmed by the Mexican government. In 2023, the event started at 10:00 a.m., so this year’s parade is expected to have a similar schedule.
According to Mexico City International Airport, takeoff and landing operations will be suspended between 9:15 and 13:30 to facilitate military air maneuvers. These restrictions mean that the military air parade will take place within this time frame, so the ground event is likely to begin around 10:00, as in previous years.
