The signatories
In the letter, the senators affirmed that vacations are a right of all workers to enjoy rest, social and family life, in addition to allowing the healthy development of society.
They recalled that the full Senate of the Republic endorsed the modifications to the Federal Labor Law with 89 votes in favor.
The initiative was promoted by Movimiento Ciudadano senator Patricia Mercado and proposals on the matter were also presented by senators from Morena, including Ricardo Velázquez, one of the signatories of the petition to the Guinda deputies to proceed to the vote on the minutes.
Other signatories were the coordinator of the Parliamentary Group, Ricardo Monreal Ávila, the president of the Board of Directors, Alejandro Armenta Mier, and the former Secretary of the Interior Olga Sánchez Cordero.
