Senators from Morena and PT open the door of their benches to Yunes Márquez

“For my part, I recognize the will he had, the vote he gave to Morena, and that, perhaps, is a first step,” said Monreal.

Meanwhile, Fernando Noroña, president of the Senate and legislator of the PT, a key ally of Morena, said that it will be up to Yunes Márquez to decide whether or not to join the Morena, Green Party or PT bloc in the Senate.

“The entire coalition has the option, if that were the case,” he said in an interview with Azucena Uresti.

“What is worth mentioning is that we are in complete solidarity, that is, we are not going to accept their support at such an important moment of defining a very relevant issue, such as the vote on the reform of the Judicial Branch, and then throw it to the lions. We are not going to do that, that would be cowardly on our part,” he said.
