Before the catwalk of the three candidates for the presidential candidacy that will take place at the plenary meeting of Morena on the 31st, some senators have already begun to publicly express their support.
In Mexicali, before her work report, Nancy Sánchez Arredondo spoke in favor of coordinator Ricardo Monreal. “Is my corcholata favorite”, he responded to an express question and received a hug from the Zacatecan politician, who was sitting next to him.
Malú Mícher, also present at that act, endorsed that he supports Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard and expressed that beyond sympathy for each of those who aspire to succeed President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the fundamental thing is that there be an even floor for all and transparency.
He noted that there is concern about a series of actions and situations, that it seems to us that there is no even floor
and that Ebrard himself delivered a letter to Mario Delgado, president of the party, in December of last year, in which he requests what we have asked for since July of last year: that all applicants and their representatives be summoned, so that they agree on the rules and limits and how far we are going to go in Morena

Senator Mícher stressed that they are asking for transparency and legality in the election of Morena’s candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, and in that they agree with Senator Monreal.
We want a poll where everyone agrees, as Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Marcelo Ebrard did in the last presidential contest.
He clarified that there is nothing personal against Adán Augusto López or Claudia Sheinbaum. “I have walked many years next to them; the matter is inside Morena, so that there are clear rules, since the spirit of Morena is against the charged”.
Fortunately, he maintained, there was a signal after nine months, with the letter that Delgado sent to the governors so that there would be equal treatment for all applicants. He ruled out that there could be favoritism, since, he pointed out, At the end of the day, the survey is the one that is going to speak and we want them to call us, that there are clear rules and fair play

In turn, Sánchez Arredondo commented that although his candidate is Monreal, he respects and admires the other contenders, especially Ebrard and López Hernández, with whom he has had dealings.
Monreal stressed that he appreciates that he has been included among the pre-candidates, a fact in which President López Obrador should have intervened, and trusts that the party guarantees conditions of fairness and equality of conditions.
