Near the beginning of the discussion of the readjustment of the public sector in the National Congress, Yasna Provoste, head of the bench of DC senators, referred to the readjustment of the public sector.
In this regard, he pointed out “that the agreement with the CUT and the rest of the public sector unions usually facilitates the legislative process. For this reason, we expect a transparent debate that allows all parties to be heard.”
The senator stated that “what is important now is that public institutions function properly in this recessive cycle that is beginning to take place and in which public investment is required to be carried out quickly”
Likewise, Provoste pointed out “that public investment in the educational sector must be promoted so that an Educational Recovery Plan is implemented that avoids school exclusion and increases key assistance to improve learning. In addition, it should seek to reduce the lists by 2023 waiting in the health sector, implement the Plan against Organized Crime and provide more resources for municipalities to provide more security”.
“The challenges that the public sector must implement and that the public expects to be met by 2023 are important,” he concluded.
