Senator Rincón confirms meeting with former president Piñera to discuss the constituent process

Senator Ximena Rincón, from the Democrats party —in formation— announced that she will meet with former President Sebastián Piñera next Thursday, December 22, to address the constituent process.

As stated ThirdSenator Rincón, after having met with former presidents Eduardo Frei, Ricardo Lagos and Michelle Bachelet, said that “we will go to see and talk with the former president (Piñera) as we went to see and talk with our other three former presidents.”

It is worth mentioning that, although he slipped that he is available to collaborate, for his part, former president Ricardo Lagos briefly addressed the initiative of Senator Rincón, who together with the national secretary of said community, Carlos Maldonado, pointed out that there are former leaders who should be part of the Expert Commission —one of the three bodies of the new constituent process—.
