Senator Moreira gives Minister Montes chocolate rabbits in allusion to sayings about forest fires

The senator Ivan Moreira (UDI) gave this Thursday chocolate rabbits to the Minister of Housing and Urbanism, Carlos Montesalluding to his statements about the forest fires in the center-south of the country.

The Secretary of State commented last week that, when an accident begins, the rabbits “burn and start off for areas where there is no fire. And they take the fire to another sector.”

Senator UDI delivered the chocolates to Montes before a special session of the Senate, where they addressed the Emergency Housing Plan and reconstruction in areas affected by the fires.

“Upon entering, Senator Moreira gave me a very nice gift that I appreciate, but the chocolates with the bunnies are of poor quality, the only gift I have, because they are half-old. But thank you very much for the sympathy of the gift, ”said the head of Housing at the session.
