Senator Jader Barbalho (MDB-PA) was admitted to Hospital Beneficente Portuguesa this Thursday (5), in Belém, Pará. According to a bulletin released by the health unit, Barbalho was admitted after experiencing an episode of malaise.
“The patient was admitted with a clinical condition compatible with dehydration, and hospital admission was recommended for intravenous volume replacement with medication administration and additional tests,” says the bulletin.
The report also says that Barbalho is lucid, “oriented in time and space”, with no evidence of motor deficit and clinical stability.
The senator remains accompanied by a multidisciplinary team and should remain under medical observation for the next few hours.
