Santo Domingo.- The senator For the province, María Trinidad Sánchez denounced this Tuesday that the Spanish embassy in the country “is treating in a humiliating manner” Dominican citizens who request a visa to travel to that nation.

Alexis Victoria Yeb He said that many Dominican citizens have been denied visas, on the grounds that they do not meet the economic conditions to maintain their stay in that nation.

“The Spanish embassy is limiting the visa to Dominican citizens. Dominicans go to Madrid or any part of Spain to work or study and they are being humiliated,” said the legislator from the ruling Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM).

He added that many Creoles have requested visas to visit the European nation and have not been given enough time to organize the trip.
