The tripartite agreements achieved between workers, business sector and the government for the modification of the Labor Code They will be taken into consideration, said the president of the commission that studies the piece, The Senator Altograciano, Rafael Barón Duluc (Cholitín).
He informed that as of Tuesday of next week he will convene the sectors involved, to listen to the opinions about the piece that perimated the last legislature and was reintroduced in the current one.
The legislator said that when the labor code modification project is reintroduced, it has to be discussed again with the sectors involved, although abbreviated, after remembering that there was a previous pact.
He recalled that the Senate of the Republic exhausted a long working day around the piece, so legislators know the content very well and that it aspires to be approved by the plenary, as soon as possible.
He informed that the commission that presides convened next Tuesday to the business and labor sectors, separately, with a view to reviewing the points that generate conflicts and caused the perimeting legislation.

The theme of greater conflict is the dismissal, which the employer sector opposes, while the work reaffirms that it is unnegotiable, therefore, it is not under discussion.
Another conflicting point is that of the benefits of domestic workers, on which there are radical positions found, so Cholitín considers to look for a balance. He argued that while it is true that it is not about companies, it is necessary to guarantee some rights to domestic workers.
“We must go to the principles of the International Labor Organization (ILO), because we live in a globalized world, but we must look for a balance that does not affect families by imposing a burden, because it would also affect the employee itself,” he explained.
