Senate sealed off to prevent protests against National Guard reform

This comes after September 10, when senators were discussing the Judicial Reform, employees of the Judicial Branch entered the Senate to prevent legislators from approving the reform that establishes that judges, ministers and magistrates be elected by direct vote.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, the Senate is expected to discuss the reform that recognizes indigenous and Afro-Mexican peoples and communities as subjects of public law, with legal personality and their own assets.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday the reform that establishes that the National Guard will be under the command of the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena) will be discussed.
