The Senate Justice Commission ended with the appearance of 258 aspiring magistrates of the Electoral Court of the Federal Judiciary in 17 states of the Republic and is expected to present the list of people who meet eligibility conditions no later than Tuesday .
The agreement of the members of this commission indicates that the list will be presented to the Political Coordination Board, chaired by Ricardo Monreal from Morena, but it will not be binding on the decision made by said government body when making the appointments.
The relief of the appearances was carried out between last Tuesday and Wednesday through six working groups. In the first, the applicants from Aguascalientes, Baja California, Campeche, a part of those from Veracruz and Zacatecas appeared.
Those from Mexico City participated in the second group and the candidates from Coahuila, Chihuahua and Durango participated in the third.
In group four those from Hidalgo, Oaxaca and a portion of those from Puebla appeared; in the fifth, another part of those from the latter entity, Querétaro, Quintana Roo, Sinaloa and a group from Tabasco. In the six, another group from Tabasco, from Tlaxcala, Tabasco and Veracruz.

Once the appearances concluded, the Justice Commission declared itself in permanent session to prepare the opinion on the suitability and eligibility of the candidates, which will be presented at a meeting to be held today or tomorrow.
The number of positions to be filled is 17, but for 2021 and 2022, the Senate has yet to appoint another 22 judges, as well as five of the regional chambers of the Electoral Tribunal.
