The collegiate is responsible for preserving the dignity of the parliamentary mandate, as it receives and analyzes representations or complaints made against senators, which may result in disciplinary measures such as warnings, verbal or written censure, temporary loss of office and, in cases more extreme, in loss of mandate.
With 15 holders and 15 alternates, the current composition includes government names, such as Senator Renan Calheiros (MDB-AL) and opposition names such as Hamilton Mourão (Republicans -RS). Also included in the list of holders are senators Jayme Campos (União-MT), Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), Eduardo Braga (MDB-AM), Marcos do Val (Podemos-ES), Weverton (PDT-MA), Otto Alencar (PSD-BA), Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), Zenaide Maia (PSD-RN), Fabiano Contarato (PT-ES), Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO), Magno Malta (PL-ES), Jorge Seif (PL -SC), Dr. Hiran (PP-RR).
