During the ordinary session this Thursday, the Senate discussed the bill “That modifies the budget classifier, approved by Law No. 6873/2022 ‘That approves the General Budget of the Nation for Fiscal Year 2022”.
Said proposal contemplates the reincorporation of the family subsidy payment in favor of an important group of prison guards and penitentiary officials, who were left without this benefit for a few months.
The union that brings together workers in the sector had denounced that more than 800 officials could no longer receive this financial aid, since it was limited only to those who work 24 hours.
This is a bonus of G. 1,700,000, to be paid bimonthly to officials who provide services in the different penitentiaries of our country.
By majority, the bill managed to be approved in the Senate, so it now goes to the Executive Branch for promulgation or veto.
