New project
Before this new extension was voted on, the Senate approved a project that allows extensions, once they are approved for the sixth time, to have a duration of 30 days and not 15 as it is currently. The initiative must now go through the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies to be applied.
If the measure is rejected, the Senate called for a vote on the new extension on February 24. Remember that this week begins the legislative recess, which runs until the first days of March.
