This is the bill “Which regulates Articles 146, 147 and 149 of the National Constitution of Natural and Multiple Paraguayan Nationality”, presented by senators Lilian Samaniego and Eusebio Ramón Ayala and approved with modifications.
The objective of this project is to give the ccertainty that each child of nationals born abroad has the right to natural nationality by option, in accordance with the provisions of article 146 of the National Constitution. Also, whatthat the natural Paraguayan when acquiring another nationality does not lose nor can he be deprived of Paraguayan nationality in any case, unless he renounces it.

Thus, the purpose of the proposal is to regulate articles 146, 147 and 149 of the National Constitution and establish the substantive and procedural rules related to the option, acquisition and renunciation of natural Paraguayan nationality.
The document is sent to the Chamber of Deputies, so that it can be issued on the subject.
