The Senate approved this Wednesday (31) the provisional measure (MP) that makes working hours more flexible for mothers and fathers who have children up to six years old or with disabilities (MP 1,116 of 2022). The text will now go to the President of the Republic for sanction.
The measure provides that these fathers and mothers will have priority for part-time work, anticipation of vacations and granting flexible entry and exit times.
The MP also deals with gender equity, by determining that women receive the same salary as men who perform the same function in the company. The measure also provides support for microcredit for women.
Childcare assistance
If sanctioned, the text also increases the maximum age for children to be entitled to daycare assistance to 5 years and 11 months and seeks to strengthen the qualification system for women victims of domestic violence.
The approved version of the text also provides for measures to combat sexual harassment in companies, telework for mothers and fathers employed on a part-time basis, a special compensation scheme for bank hours and incentives for the creation of day care centers by the S System and flexibility of the regime. on vacation.
