Jorge Querey, a national senator for the Guasu Front and president of said commission, stated that the investigations could be completed within two to four weeks without further details. “The expansion is justified by the work itself. “We want the effort to be as documented as possible,” he said.

The legislator affirmed that everyone has the right to participate or not want to do so. But what cannot be done is a CBI of a multiparty Senate and only call one sector. “I would love for everyone to be called and if we are going to vote for an extension, let all the bells be heard. Querey responded that this type of criticism should be made when the final report is read, since doing so beforehand only shows a lack of knowledge about the work that the CBI is carrying out. “It is not just about one sector. Only in the banking case can it be considered. Since we are waiting for the “Cabeza Branca” case file, he operated with five different private banks. What happens is that there is no adequate representation since the person who represents their movement does not attend. We have investigated the issue of smuggling, we have summoned the commander of the Navy, we spoke with importers, exporters, personalities from different political sectors. What the report will establish is what appears in the documents and the appearances, ”he said.
