“We insisted on this because, recently, young people of productive age who had reached their majority, realized that they were without health protection, after they suffered a traffic accident and needed to use their card in the health centers where they went. carried. And that is precisely where we do not want them to end up, to be left without their health coverage”, explained Dr. Hazim.

He stressed that, according to the institution’s data for this first quarter of January-March 2023, 17,231 young people have been identified, of which more than ten thousand have already reached their majority and the rest will be fulfilled this month. is studying; “They do not have to wait, for example, for Holy Week that is approaching to carry out this process, the institution has means and service points where they can approach and enroll their dependents. How to join?

Carmen José, Commercial and Affiliation Manager of SeNaSa, described that holders can affiliate their dependents up to 18 years of age without distinction, up to 21 years of age if they study and for life if they have a disability without any additional charge.

In this sense, and in order to close these gaps and provide alternate channels to their affiliates, both officials specified that for this type of procedure, SeNaSa has a department dedicated to proactively contacting those affiliates whose dependents are going to be released. low for assuming the age of majority.

They reiterated the invitation to the entire affiliated population to update their contact information, address and telephone number through any of their offices and alternate routes, so that their SeNaSa Affiliate Regularization Center can contact them and provide them with this service.
