The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru (Senamhi) shared the weather forecast for the New Year in Metropolitan Lima and provinces. Find out the weather conditions that await us on December 31 and January 1.

TEMPERATURE IN LIMA
Senamhi forecasts for the districts of East Lima a maximum temperature of 27 °C and a minimum of 19 °C. Cloud cover will be variable, with a partially cloudy sky predominating during the first hours of the day, with a tendency to disperse towards midday.
Meanwhile, in West Lima Slightly below normal temperatures are expected by the end of the year. A thermal range between 20°C and 24°C is expected. Cloud cover will be variable, with partly cloudy skies in the morning and scattered clouds at midday. Also, weak rainfall during the nights.
TEMPERATURES IN THE PROVINCES OF LIMA
Provinces like Chosica, Huaral, Huacho and San Vicente de Cañete will experience variable weather conditions in the New Year. Chosica will present temperatures with maximums of 27 °C and afternoon and night rains. Huaral and Huacho will register slightly higher temperatures, with gusts of wind and light rains in the evening. San Vicente de Cañete will have a warm climate and possible nighttime rainfall.
However, in Huarochiri, Matucana and Oyón Cold and wet weather conditions will be experienced. A thermal range between 8 °C and 17 °C is expected. Cloudiness will be abundant, with moderate skies and precipitation.
