Senamhi issues orange alert due to a sudden drop in temperatures in four departments

The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service (Senamhi) has issued a orange alert due to sudden drop in temperatures in four departments of the country.

“Atmospheric instability is forecast that will cause sudden drop in temperatures between 6°c and 14°c, to occur from Friday the 18th to Saturday the 19th of October,” says a bulletin.

Tarija. In the provinces: O Connor, Gran Chaco, Arce, Méndez and Cercado.

Chuquisaca. In the provinces: Luis Calvo, Hernando Siles, east of Tomina, and southeast of Belisario Boeto.

Holy Cross. In the provinces: Andrés Ibáñez, Warnes, Ichilo, Sara, Santiesteban, Chiquitos, Guarayos, Ñuflo de Chávez, Velasco, Ángel Sandoval, German Busch and Cordillera.

Beni. In the provinces: Cercado, Marbán, Moxos, Iténez and Mamoré; south of the Yacuma and Ballivián provinces.
