The National Anti-Drug Secretariat (Senad) reported that drug crops and camps were detected in a wooded area of the Cerro Kuatia locality, district of Capitán Bado. Through the operation he managed to annul 8,500 kilos of marijuana.
Special agents of the Regional Department No. 1 in Pedro Juan Caballero carried out the operation under the command of prosecutor Celso Morales, through which two hectares of marijuana cultivation and six camps were located.
INCINERATION
Within the raided area, 2,500 kilos of ready marijuana were located. By order of the representative of the Public Ministry, all the evidence found was incinerated on the spot, according to Senad.
With the intervention, approximately 8,500 kilos of marijuana were annulled, counting the annulments of the plantations and the drug ready for placement in countries of the region. With this operation, the Anti-Drug Secretariat managed to generate a blow close to organized crime of US$ 1.5 million.
