Following instructions from Mario Abdo Benítez, President of the Republic, René Fernández, Minister of the National Anti-Corruption Secretariat (Senac), filed a complaint about the Iranian-Venezuelan plane that arrived in the country in mid-May. Fernández announced the presentation of new elements that will support the complaint.
“From Senac we initiated an ex officio investigation because elements emerged that could be linked to our competition, such as the intervention of public officials in a series of foreign trade operations. According to the information we have collected, we have informed the President of the Republic about the need to deepen these indications through the Public Ministry, “he said.
Fernández believes that there are indications of the existence of punishable acts of terrorist association and financing of terrorism.
