SEME paramedics and patients who were being transferred by ambulance were attacked by radicals who mobilize in the name of Paraguayo Cubas. The union repudiates the events that occurred and warns that everyone’s lives were in danger.
“We were in those places to protect their lives, however, we were attacked, they opened the ambulance, they even got in and continued to hit,” lamented Vicente Riveros, a representative of Sifuseme, in an interview with Gen.
In this sense, the union issued a statement rejecting what happened. “We express to public opinion and the general public our energetic repudiation of the acts of vandalism, which have endangered the lives of our colleagues and co-workers, as well as the patients, who, being transferred by ambulance, were cowardly attacked by a mob of alleged protesters”, express pronouncement of the Union of Officials of the Extra-hospital Medical Emergency Service.

“We believe that anyone who leads and is in favor of this type of aberrant action can only deserve our highest indignation and they must settle accounts before the courts,” the statement states.
The Union asks the authorities to take the pertinent measures and warns that there is a fear to go out to work. “Please, let’s put aside the violence and hatred between Paraguayans,” he says.
