which had Antwerp, Belgium as their discharge port, and Douala, Cameroon, as their final destination, Semar reported yesterday in a statement.
Given the discovery, the established protocols were put in place, so the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic began the corresponding investigations and proceedings, carrying out the opening, review and analysis of the merchandise, and carrying out the legal procedures until its final destination through from the research portfolio
explained the agency.
Semar highlighted that the blow to organized crime, through confiscation, is result of the performance of the functions conferred (in customs) to the Secretary of the Navy through the Mexican Navy
powers given to him by the previous government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
They also highlighted the commitment of the naval institution and joint work with the agencies in charge of combating this type of activities, through forceful actions aimed at preventing the narcotic from reaching society by removing it from the illicit market; thus contributing to the internal security of the country and contributing to the fight against international drug trafficking from Mexican ports and coasts.
