On the list of those called up for the Bolivian team, presented by Óscar Villegas this Wednesday for the double date of the South American Qualifiers in November, there are several new features. Among those that stand out the most is the increase in clubs in the Professional Division that contribute players to the Green, as well as the legionnaires, who are once again the bulk of the national team.
This is the third payroll that Villegas has made since he joined the national team. The first was for the double date in September, in which 27 players were called up, of which 20 were active in five different teams in the Professional Division, while the remaining seven came from abroad.
For October, there were also changes in the call, as the number of clubs and legionnaires increased. The coach summoned 28 players: 19 from the local level, coming from six different clubs. The rest (9) came from abroad.
Now, in the current call for the matches against Ecuador and Paraguay, Villegas also increased the number of local clubs and footballers who play in foreign leagues. He called up a total of 30 soccer players, of which 19 are divided between eight Bolivian teams; the balance comes from abroad (11).
The Bolivian clubs that contribute the most players to the national team are Bolívar and Always Ready, both with five each. They are followed by The Strongest, Aurora and Oriente Petrolero (2), while Blooming, GV San José and FC Universitario have one representative each.
