The 2026 – I admission exam, to obtain a seat for one of the 39 courses at the National University of Central Peru (UNCP), will be held on March 14 and 15. For this purpose, the registration process aimed at applicants in the Ordinary and Free Participant modalities was initiated.
The academic offer includes 39 professional careers distributed in five areas of knowledge: Health Sciences, Engineering and architecture, Administrative, Accounting and Economic Sciences; Education and Social Sciences and Agricultural Sciences.
Added to this is the presence of academic programs in the Tarma and Satipo subsidiaries, aimed at strengthening agroindustrial and forestry development in the central region of the country.
Today the virtual registration began and the Admissions Department established a registration schedule according to the letter with which the applicant’s paternal surname begins.
- From A to F you can register from January 19 to 26
- From G to M, from January 27 to February 3
- From N to R, from February 4 to 12
- From S to Z, from February 13 to 21.
Likewise, the virtual platform will remain enabled until March 4 for extemporaneous services.
The registration process begins with the free download of the admission prospectus from the official UNCP portal that contains the regulations, syllabus and list of vacancies.
Costs
Applicants must pay the exam fee at the Banco de la Nación or Caja Huancayo. Graduates from state educational institutions will pay S/271, while those from private schools will pay S/331.
For children of community members from the Junín region, people with disabilities, victims of terrorism and students from native communities, the registration amounts range between S/50 and S/235 soles, after verification of requirements.
Other requirements
After a period of approximately 24 hours, the system will enable the virtual registration, where they must enter their personal data, upload a passport-sized photograph and present the corresponding sworn declaration.
The printed registration form and the original ID will be mandatory requirements for entry to the university city on the day of the exam.
